Presented by the Young Executive Members of the Capital City Club
Step into your dancing shoes and take part in the Big Bad Ball (BBB), a Triangle
tradition celebrating its 10th anniversary on October 1st, 2011. This popular black tie event brings generations
together to support the compassionate services of Hospice of Wake County, a Triangle United Way Agency of Excellence.
The Big Bad Ball came to life in 2001 with the Capital City Club Young Executives’ vision of making a generous
contribution to the community in a memorable way. Recognized with a Standing Ovation Award as the top Triangle charity
event in Metro Magazine’s 2007 MetroBravo Awards, the benefit has sustained a decade of success, raising upwards of $100,000 per year.
Two great bands amplify the energy. Come early for big band swing or dance the night away to contemporary and classic rock.
Wind down with intimate jazz in Cap’s Pub.
Enjoy a variety of food sensations: Hors d’oeuvres, award-winning cheeses donated by Cabot Creamery, pasta, carving stations,
lush desserts, a late-night breakfast and five open bars.
Further benefit this worthy cause and do some holiday shopping at the silent auction, rich with over 150 offerings of jewelry,
sports memorabilia, event tickets, fine dining, health and beauty services, travel, and more.
Everyone has a chance to win the door prize donated by Fink's Jewelers and to enter the Big Bad Ball raffle to win $10,000 cash!
